The set of 3 coins: Craters in Israel 2022 is from the "Israel Independence Day" series. Israel has five spectacular craters - Ramon crater, big crater, small crater and Arif (twin) craters. These phenomenal formations are carved into the landscape of Israel's Negev desert.
The currencies are minted: from gold sample Au.916 and sterling silver Ag.999, in standard proof and silver Ag.925, in a prooflike standard. Coins include denominations - 10 NIS, 2 NIS and 1 NIS. In order of highest face value, the products have weight and diameter: 16.96 g and 30 mm, 31.1 g and 38.7 mm, 14.4 g and 30 mm. Values are packed in individual packaging. In addition, these remarkable pieces were produced by The Holy Land Mint. The coins are guaranteed by the Israeli government as to its legality, purity of the bullion and the origin of the metal.
Obverses depict Israel's coat of arms, the inscription "INDEPENDENCE DAY 2022." The obverses feature information about the denomination, year and country of origin written in Hebrew, English and Arabic.
Reverses show the different layers of rocks that make up the craters and the eagle. The designer of the reverse was Zvika Roitman.
