Gibraltar: Set of 4 coins - 80. gibraltar disaster anniversary 2023 commemorates 80. anniversary of the Gibraltar disaster. The kit includes
- 2 gold coins weighing: 1/2 ounce gold in Au sample.999, 32 mm in diameter and denominations of 1/2 crown and 1/10 ounce gold Au.999, 18 mm in diameter and a denomination of 1/10th of a crown,
- a silver coin weighing 1 ounce of Ag silver.999, 38.61 mm in diameter and with a denomination of 1 crown
- coin made of cupro-nickel issued between 1952 and 1981 with a weight of 11.7grams, a diameter of 30.5 mm and a face value of 50 zlotys.
The set was produced in a low run of only 80 pieces. The copy additionally includes a stamp with a portrait of Gen. Sikorskiego. The product is legal tender in the territory of Gibraltar.
Obverse the gold and silver coins depict the coat of arms of Gibraltar and the inscription "GIBRALTAR." The obverse of the cupro-nickel copy features the eagle of the Republic of Poland. The obverses also show the issue date and face value of the coin.
On the reverse side was presented an image of General Władysław Sikorski.
