The Perth Mint 125th Anniversary Coin Set of 5 coins includes Five Australian Sovereigns, Double Australian Sovereign, Australian Sovereign, Half Australian Sovereign, 1/4 Australian Sovereign and has been produced to proof (mirror stamp) standard in 22-karat gold in Au.9167. The products have weights and diameters of: 15.982 grams and 29 mm, 39.936 grams and 36.60 mm, 7.989 grams and 22.55 mm, 3.994 grams and 20.05 mm, 1.997 grams and 14.20 mm. The total mintage of the unique 2024 coin is only 150 pieces. What's more, the whole thing comes in an elegant packaging with an accompanying certificate of authenticity.
The obverse depicts King Charles III of Great Britain, as designed by Dan Thorne. The face value of the coin and the issuing country can also be found on it. The Rewers shows a naked warrior on horseback, brandishing a sword over a dragon. The coin bears the inscription 'AUSTRALIA', 2024' and the mint mark 'P125'. The reverse was designed by Jennifer McKenna.
