Gold bullion coin Ghana: Giants of the Ice Age - Cave Lion 1 oz Gold 2022 is the eighth and final coin in the Giants of the Ice Age series. Series depicts selected animals from the Ice Age. The entire collection consists of 8 coins - each coin in the Giants of the Ice Age series depicts a different animal. The series has released such coins as - Hairy Mammoth, Giant Deer, Sabre-toothed Tiger, Cave Bear, Hairy Rhinoceros, Tur, Reindeer and Cave Lion.
Valor of 2022 shows cave lion. The currency was minted from pure Au gold.9999, weighing 1 troy ounce. The German manufacturer, Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung, is responsible for knocking it out. The coin is also full legal tender and is guaranteed by the government of Ghana.
Obverse the gold coin depicts the coat of arms of Ghana and the inscription "REPUBLIC OF GHANA", as well as information about the face value of the currency.
Reverse shows a cave lion, with its mouth open. In addition, the reverse side includes images of all the animals that make up the entire series, as well as information about the year of issue, the weight of the coin, the sample of the bullion used and the mintage number of the coin.
