The 2020 silver Krugerrands are minted by South Africa's Rand Refinery mint from pure Ag bullion.999, weighing one ounce and measuring 38.7 mm in diameter. Each coin in the series is a full-fledged means of payment, guaranteed by the South African government as to the legality, purity of the bullion and origin of the metal. It is interesting to note that although Krugerrands are full-fledged means of payment, having no nominal value.
